The owner of a Maserati Gran Turismo contacted the San Diego Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen in the city of San Diego.
The San Diego PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Maserati.

A short while later officers from the San Diego PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Maserati with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Maserati to a residential neighborhood located in the 3800 block of Hicock Street in San Diego.
