On July 26th, an employee with a transport company noticed that their 2013 Peterbilt 386 Truck and 53’ Trailer was missing from their trucking yard in St. Laurent, Quebec. The trailer contained televisions, air conditioners, rolls of paper and stickers. A theft report was completed and the LoJack transponder concealed in the truck was activated.

The LoJack Tracking Team was alerted of the theft and started searching for the stolen truck and trailer. The Tracking Team then began receiving the silent LoJack homing signals transmitting from the stolen truck on their Police Tracking Computer (PTC) installed in their vehicles. They alerted the Mirabel Police Department to advise them of the search. Following the audible and visual cues on the PTC a Mirabel Police officer located the stolen truck at a Truck Stop on Victor Rd in Mirabel. The officer did not notice any suspects near the stolen truck.

The Mirabel police confiscated the truck and trailer and alerted the transport company that they had recovered their truck. Value of this recovery:

•2013 Peterbilt 386 Truck $130,000
•2005 SPOUG 53’ Trailer $15,000
